At our office, we use composite, tooth-colored fillings to restore teeth that have been damaged by decay. Tooth-colored fillings are durable, long-lasting, and form a secure bond to your tooth. In addition, they provide much better aesthetic results compared to metal amalgam fillings, which leave your smile discolored and gray.

Dental Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns are a great option for restoring seriously-damaged teeth. At Lighthouse Dental, we use porcelain crowns because this material looks and feels just like a natural tooth. Crowns are designed to cover up and protect your remaining enamel, all the way down to the gum line. By covering all your remaining tooth structure, crowns can help preserve teeth that have large cavities, have been treated with a root canal, or have been damaged by an oral injury.
Dental bridges use multiple crowns to replace one or more adjacent missing teeth. Two crowns are attached to healthy “abutment” teeth on either side of the missing tooth. Then, a false tooth (pontic) is suspended between these teeth to fill in the gap where the missing tooth used to be.

Restore Infected Teeth
Anterior & Posterior Root Canal Therapy
Root canal therapy is the best way to restore an infected tooth. Tooth infections typically occur when the outer layer of your tooth is damaged and the soft, vulnerable interior pulp is exposed to bacteria. During root canal therapy, Dr. Amin will create a small opening in your tooth and remove the infected material. Your tooth will be cleaned and disinfected, then it will be restored with a filling or a crown. Dr. Amin has many years of experience with endodontics, and can perform root canals on both anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth.
Replace Missing Teeth
Full & Partial Dentures
Partial dentures can be used to replace multiple missing teeth by attaching to your remaining healthy teeth. They are an affordable and convenient option if you are missing several of your natural teeth. Full dentures are somewhat different, and only recommended if you have already lost most or all of your teeth. This is because they fit directly over your gums to restore the upper, lower, or both arches of your teeth, and any remaining teeth must be extracted before you can receive full dentures.
